Transcript
Hi! I'm Michelle, a new mom and co-creator of Happy Charlie. Welcome.
In the next few minutes, I'll show you how to log feeds, sleep, and diapers, and where to find them afterwards.
Everything starts on Home. Each button is an activity. It shows how long ago it last happened, and what it was.
Tap Today, at the top, for the day at a glance: the time since the last feed, today's totals, and how long since the last diaper and sleep. Each has a pencil to change it and a trash can to delete it.
You can also swipe left on Home to see Today, and swipe right to go back to Home.
To time nursing, tap Nursing, then tap the side you're starting on. The timer starts right away.
When you switch sides, tap the other side. Each side keeps its own time.
Tap Save when the feed is done.
Forgot to start the timer? Tap Nursing, then Entry.
Choose the side you started on and the minutes on each side. Change the start time with the pencil if it was earlier. Then tap Save.
To log a bottle feed, tap Bottle. Choose formula or breast milk, and the amount.
It's logged for the current time by default. You pick an earlier time if needed. Tap Save.
Every entry page has, Show history, at the top. Tap Bottle again, then Show history.
History opens. Each row shows a past feeding with its time, the amount, and who logged it. Tap the pencil to change one, or the trash can to delete it.
You can also swipe right on an entry page to open its history, and swipe left on History to go back. You can also tap Back.
Sleep works the same way: start a timer when your baby falls asleep, or add it afterwards. Tap Sleep, then Entry.
Here, I'll add a half-hour nap. Tap the length. The start time is filled in. You can change it if you need to.
To save the sleep, tap Save.
For a diaper change, tap Diaper, then choose wet, dirty, or both. For a dirty diaper, you can add the color and consistency.
Tap Save. The Home page shows the new diaper right away.
That's it. A few taps, and everyone caring for your baby is up to date. Next up: logging with your voice and Siri.
