Our story

Named for a granddaughter

Happy Charlie is named after the founder's granddaughter. We wanted it to feel warm, not clinical.

Why we built it

Caring for a baby is shared work: parents, grandparents, nannies. Keeping track should take seconds, include everyone who helps, and leave the records in the family's hands.

So we set three rules:

And one boundary: Happy Charlie keeps records. It doesn't give medical advice. See what you can log.

How it's run

Happy Charlie doesn't sell your data. It shows no ads, and there are no advertising or tracking tools in the app or on this website. Every feature is free today.

It's made for parents and other adult caregivers in the United States. The records belong to the family: an administrator can export everything, and anyone can delete their account when they want. The privacy notice lists the service providers that run the app and what each receives.
