Read your charts, then share a report with your pediatrician or a caregiver. 2 min.

Transcript

Hi! I'm Michelle, a new mom and co-creator of Happy Charlie. Welcome.

In the next few minutes, I'll show you how to read Insights, and how to share a report with your pediatrician or a caregiver.

Our examples use Maya, a sample baby with a week of entries.

Tap Insights at the bottom.

Choose Week, Month, or Other for your own dates. The arrows move back and forward.

Days run from morning to morning, so a night stays in one piece.

Each bar is a day. The amount is on top, and the number of feeds is inside.

Today has a dashed outline, because the day isn't over.

Tap Show blocks to see each feed as its own block.

Tap again for solid bars.

Sleep shows the night and naps together.

Day and night splits each day in two, for feeds or sleep. Below it, boxes show the last full day against the first day shown.

Stretches shows the time between feeds, the longest night's sleep, and time awake.

A striped day has no entries. It's never counted as zero.

Keep scrolling for diapers, tummy time, pumping, and growth.

To share what you see, tap Share report at the top of Insights.

Quick Summary is for handing over to a caregiver. It has what's under way now, the last of each activity, and a summary.

Detailed Insights is for your pediatrician. It adds a table of days and every chart.

The dates come from the period you were looking at. You can change them.

You can include your notes, and add questions or comments.

Tap Share.

Send the PDF by email, text, or any app you like.

Here's the report. The first page has a summary in numbers and a table of days.

The charts follow, the same ones you saw in the app.

It prints what you recorded. It isn't a medical record.

That's it. Your baby's records, easy to read, and ready to share.
