Hi! I'm Michelle, a new mom and co-creator of Happy Charlie. Welcome.
In the next few minutes, I'll show you how to create your account, set up your family, and invite a caregiver.
We'll start with the sign-in screen. Google, Apple, or email can be used to access Happy Charlie.
After sign-in, the first time you use the app, you will need to review your baby's health data terms. Please read this page and tap Allow if you are comfortable consenting.
Next, tell us about your baby. We need a name, birth date, and whether you have a boy or girl.
Then choose your baby's home state and your relationship to the baby.
The family name, time zone, and night hours are filled in for you. Change them as you need to. Then, choose what activities you'll track.
When you are ready, tap Create family.
Now that the family is created, you can invite the people who help care for the baby, like a partner, grandparent, or nanny.
Add their name and tap Share invitation link.
Send it by text, email, or any messaging app. Each link works once, and expires after three days.
Until a link is used, you can revoke it by tapping the trash can.
Tap Done to finish inviting caregivers. If you need to, you can invite more people later from Family tab in the app.
When Grandma Rose receives the invite, opens the link and signs in on her phone, she joins the family and appears in Members.
